The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a registered non-profit organization that prides itself on being a powerful voice for children, a relevant resource for parents, and a strong advocate for public education.
The PTA does so many good things for La Verne Heights because of this long-standing program. For instance, by simply becoming a member of the PTA, at a nominal $7.50 per school year, the PTA is able to operate at our school. The PTA pays for LVH's assemblies and transportation for the field trips for all grade levels. They host key events throughout the school year such as the Fall Carnival, the annual Walk-A-Thon, the Book Fairs, Muffins with Mom, Donuts with Dad, Talent Show, annual Dance Festival, etc. The PTA organizes programs like Box Tops for Education, Amazon Smile - which will allow Mrs. Bellomo to purchase many books and materials for our library! With excellent participation, you help keep the PTA program going and thriving.
PTA Membership Drive runs from the beginning of the school year through September. Please encourage everyone to join. PTA's goal is 2 memberships per family and ONLY $7.50 a year.
