What's New
Family Reading Nights for the month of May will be held on May 1, 8, and 15. May 15th will be the last FRN for the year. We look forward to your attendance.

State testing for students in grades 2-5 will be held May 1st through May 10th. Please make sure your child has a good night's sleep and eats breakfast prior to coming to school. "Believe You Can Achieve, Because We Do!"

Our monthly Pizza Nights continue. This month Kindergarten Pizza Night takes place on Wednesday, May 30th, at Round Table Pizza. See you there!

Our last Kidscan is on May 31st. Save your recyclable cans and bottles. Your support is greatly appreciated!

On March 29, 2012, the California Department of Education released their list of Distinguished Schools. Due to all the hard work of our dedicated teachers, our hard working students, and our supportive parents La Verne Heights Elementary School was honored with this award. A big CONGRATULATIONS! goes to all the members of the La Verne Heights Elementary School family for you share in this honor.

At La Verne Heights we have a strong tradition of excellence in education where every child counts and is encouraged to learn to his/her fullest potential. The La Verne Heights PTA helps to enhance our learning environment by providing assistance and an extra set of willing hands aimed at supporting our total educational program.
