Character Counts is the character education program we have adopted at La Verne Heights Elementary School. We will be promoting characteristics that build individual Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship. Through classroom lessons, assemblies, and morning announcements, students will learn the importance of each pillar, and students who exemplify each of the pillars will be awarded as Student of the Month during our monthly assemblies.
Each month is a new "character" that the students will learn about and support by wearing that Character Counts color on Tuesday. National Character Counts week is October17th-21st.
